One of the small changes I like is that pressing the Y button while in control of a group no longer causes all units to launch their supers. What happens instead is only one super will launch. For example say I have 5 vultures in a controlled group, in HW1 pressing Y would cause all 5 to launch their missile barrage, assuming the power was charged. In HW2 only one of those 5 will launch. This is great because it allows you to spread damage without having to select each vulture individually, so in a group of 5 each press of the Y button activates a new vultures barrage. Some may not like it because it may seem slower when trying to take down a single powerful target like say a scarab or a base, but I’m hoping that creative assembly makes the controls responsive enough in the final product that 5 quick presses of the Y button allows you to launch all supers back to back.
That would be nice, but I would like some way to activate the specials while cycling through a large group of many units. Maybe you can do that and it was just a glitch for me.
