In campaign they’re this non-UNSC looking almost teal green instead of olive drab like the first game and it’s just completely wrong and ugly. It was probably done for “unit visibility” reasons as if that actually matters when your units have green circles underneath them. Their visibility was never a problem in the first game and it didn’t need “fixing”.
The colors in multiplayer are even worse. Red and blue units don’t even look like Halo stuff anymore. It looks like generic RTS stuff. Just do it like the first game where things didn’t look terrible, or at least turn off the red and blue in 1v1s where it isn’t necessary.
Stuff like this may seem minor but it really impacts the feel of the game.
Halo has always been Reds vs Blues and full of color in multiplayer.
Yeah, I agree with the multiplayer colours. I always preferred the colours from Halo Wars 1. Maybe it will change seeing as there will be skins implemented though.

And that’s always been ugly. Also Halo Wars 1 wasn’t like this. It should continue the RTS customs instead of awkwardly adapting the FPS customs.

That isn’t hypocrisy…
I’m talking about the Halo RTSes in that second post, not all RTSes in general.
