i like to see that the unique weapons you can get in the campaign story missions like bloodsword or the Ravager Rebound are also become available in the multiplayer match’s.
Oof, the campaign has variants to the weapons? Nope, don’t like that.
Would definitely be fun for use in custom games, or as a special variant game mode like Super Fiesta.
but the weapon variants have also big diffrends like less max ammo then the basic weapon.
or the power diffrend is what worse then the basic one’s more.
like the basic Energy Sword has 2 variants in the campaign the bloodsword and Duelist Energy Sword
the basic gravity hammer has also 2 variants the Diminisher of Hope and Rushdown Hammer.
if you take the sniper rilfe is the basic one more powerfull then the variant version.
since the variant has one type scope and a ammo clip of 10 bullets but the it has less power full then the basic sniper rilfe.
People like you are the enemy of creativity and innovation. you’re LITERLLY complaining about one of the few things they actually did right in the campaign.
Unbelievable. Go back to eating your Chicken nuggets and Mountain Dew, Mr. “I-don’t-like-anything-new”
You’re absolutely right. They should make a playlist that features the Campaign Weapon variants and people might actually have a reason to stick around and play Halo.
One of the few design decisions they made for the Infinite campaign that I actually liked.
If it was up to me, the weapons would each have a tech tree, and each weapon could have half a dozen upgrades, such as Radar in the scope, a Mod to make the AR like the Halo CE AR ( but with better accuracy and a bigger magazine, cause I just like that sound of the OG AR ), an Upgrade to make the Bulldog a One Shot Kill, but with reduced range, accuracy and low mag size etc.
variety is the spice of life
and take the rocket launcher the basic one is power full and cant lock on.
and if you take the variant version you can lock on to any type vehicles but the power is reduce then the basic one.
the point off this thread is more that i not wane see the same mistake what there have done in halo 5.
since there you also have the variant versions off the weapons but you cant use then in matchmaking.
the only way to use then was in warzone or warzone firefight mode’s but thats total diffrend.
so i hope now with halo infinite that there not make the same mistake and add then also in the matchmaking lobby’s.
it means not all the variants need to be add in the same gametype but split then in diffrend game type’s that for exemple:
CTF gets the Ravager Rebound,Unbound Plasma Pistol and Riven Mangler.
slayer game type gets the Calcine Disruptor,MA40 Longshot and Volatile Skewer.
I think some of them would be OK in the multiplayer, but the sword and hammer are enough of a problem already that adding in the ones that increase movement speed and jump height feels like a really bad idea.
the Elite Bloodblade and Diminisher of Hope are good for only the grifball game type.
so that is not become a problem for the other game type.
and there are a lot off variants in the campaign you can get in total there are 24 variants you can get there now so its no problem to add 2 or 3 variants in one game type.
