So i was looking at some pictures from the Halo Fest. I happen to come across this picture of a Warthog, i noticed on where the kills were kept record at there was this silhouette of an unknown enemy. Anybody know what this is?
I can’t tell… but you can see grunt stickers too… so maybe it’s just a covenant with different armor? Or maybe something new.

It’s a Hunter. The seemingly ‘split’ arm on the left is the gun, with the ‘split’ being the highlighted FRG ammunition. The shield on the side is flat, or rather to the side, in a direction where it is unnoticeable. However, yuo can clearly make out a bump. Also, the head is perfect, just facing slightly upwards. Finally, the spikes are slightly visible in the comparison picture. You can notice it just the right of its head, a small sliver of discoloration in the shape of a Hunter spike.
However, it’s still a terrible depiction of one.

The Covenant are low on armour and equipment in this game which explains why the hunter looks ‘skinny’ and why elites are using less armour in the pictures we’ve seen

Sorry to disagree with you OP, but that’s a Hunter.
Why people think that’s a Hunter is beyond me. Unless 343 drastically changed the look of the Hunter, it’s way too slim and lanky to be one. If it’s not a newer, slimmer Hunter, I’m not sure what it is. Good find though!
I hope it’s a sword instead of a shield. They’ve been camping forever in Halo games. It’s time they start acting like Hunters instead of roadblocks. With a sword, they’d be much more dangerous especially if they swing it like Zealots. shudders Or maybe it could be a whip because that’s much more flexible. Hunters should be known as hog killers, not just earthquakes that only flip them. It’s time we see some Enforcer behavior. H2 Enforcers picked up freaking tanks!!
My point is that a heavy freaking shield that doesn’t even help defend the Hunter (the stomach already has armor, the head is nearly impossible to shoot) is completely pointless (a shield is not a primary melee weapon) and causes the Hunter to camp. With no shield, the Hunter would be forced to be on the move, making it harder to hit it and making it an Elite-esque enemy.
If I see shielded Hunters return and they’re camping and not pursuing, I guess I’ll just have to use them for checkpoints and humiliate them like I’ve always done.

You are the only person I have ever heard complain about a hunter camping lol but I agree that more variety in the hunters would be cool
It could just be a new design for the Hunters, just like all other enemies we’ve seen, or a new version/race/type of hunter, with new weapons and/or equipment. The funniest thing is that it might still be an ordinary hunter, just a “simplified” picture/design of it for teh sticker.

Could be a new lekgolo form, didn’t someone state that Hunters were just one type of lekgolo gestalt?
