Does anyone know the average time it takes to get the unicorn skin? Also, do you get the MCC nameplate as well if you just matched with them on Halo 5?

First of all, well done on matching with them. I have been trying to do so for a while now. While you will normally be granted it the following day, it can take a couple depending on how busy 343i are.
As for the Ice Unicorn nameplate on Halo: The Master Chief Collection, I honestly cannot answer that.

N7 117: Thanks! I’ve been playing pretty consistently since release, but never really expected to match with them, Most streams they do I’m at work or don’t see till after they’re done. When I saw they were streaming I jumped on and kept checking the enemy scoreboard. I never thought I’d actually team with them, and only realized it when I saw Postum’s call tag when he ran past me. I checked the scoreboard and then got real nervous / knew I needed to play well, lol.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news OP, I just took a look at the match you linked and it’s not going to qualify. You need to match with the team that was playing while the stream was live. Last night that was Unyshek, Snickerdoodle, Postums and Kubly (or Div360 who was in for the first hour).
If and when you do get a match that qualifies, you get both the MCC nameplate and the Halo 5 AR skin - no matter if it’s Halo 5 or MCC you match up in,

That is Postums, but as I mentioned it needed to be against the team that was playing during the stream. Just matching single 343 employees doesn’t qualify

You have to match against all four employees, unfortunately.

Well, I got on for today’s MCC PC playdate and matched with Unyshek, Postums and snickerdoodle in big team battle. I got trounced, but hopefully I’ll get the skin this time!
I got a snapshot of the scoreboard, but I can’t seem to be able to find decent MCC match history / a link to the match. But hopefully I’ll be good to go now.
