343i isn’t going to delay the game even if they wanted to. Microsoft is in charge of that and I’m quite sure, unless something goes horribly wrong, they’re not going to delay Infinite because they want to make money off it. There’s nothing people can do to persuade Microsoft to delay the game. I’m just tired of seeing the mindless bickering and insults being thrown on both sides, not realizing that what they say isn’t going to change anything.
There’s a lot of people who gave well-made arguments and I’m not calling everyone a baby, I’m just saying, the temper tantrums on both sides are getting really old very fast. Now, don’t think I’m telling everyone to shut up. I’m just saying, have well-constructed arguments before you go and yell at someone else who doesn’t agree with you, and realize Microsoft won’t delay Halo Infinite.
Nothing but the truth here. I personally am probably guilty of getting too frustrated when people don’t get this point. There is a difference between saying you believe the game should have been delayed again, and just spamming everywhere that it needs to be delayed again. It simply will not be, and 343 are making the best of a bad situation by cutting the unfinished features from the final release until those features are finished and polished. Good post OP.
While I would support a delay if it meant co-op, I agree that it’s not likely. I further agree that yelling at 343 about it doesn’t get us anywhere. And it sounds like the single-player campaign will be good. Maybe not as great if you want to play with friends (which I very much do), but still a fun time. And we could all use a fun time about right now.

I completely understand that. But I realize 343 can sway their opinion. They can’t make the decision, but they can talk with Microsoft, and the only way they’re gonna be motivated to talk with them is if the fans want it. They have shown they listen to us, and I know they’re listening now. I think this launch would hurt new player interest and therefore future sales of the game. You’re only going to get the best bang for your buck when you release a full, feature-filled game at launch, and the more hype the better. They will stand to make twice in the future what they hope to cash in on now if they decide to jump the gun with an unfinished release

I don’t want anyone yelling at 343. It’s actually my sympathy for 343 that gets me to say they should wait to release the game. They had so much on their plate, and Covid along with building the Slipspace Engine really took a lot of time away from them. It’s not fair to make them even showcase an unfinished game with all the work they’ve put into it
I’m guilty of getting too heated as well. I think it’s clear we all just want this game to succeed and many of us feel like we are going down the same road again.
We all just want this game to do great.

343i could do that, but I’m not sure they entirely want to do that. Even if they did, it would be hard to persuade Microsoft. 343i said it themselves, they weren’t going to delay again. You’re definitely right though, 343i did it in 2020, they could do it again… if they wanted to do so.

I think 343 could if they wanted, I don’t know how much people know but 343s #1 Bonnie Ross happens to also be the Corporate VP of Microsoft itself.
343 is not going to delay the game…nor should they…

They may want to, but Microsoft has tied their hands behind their back. It seems to me they’re not too happy about doing it this way. We’ll just have to…see what we can do.

Hell yeah man, that’s the spirit
