Unfairly banned from H3 matchmaking!!!!

To 343 or whoever manages H3’s Banhammer nowadays.

Hi, I played two games of rumble pit today, to help out a friend get an achievement in rumble pit, (since getting them properly is pretty much impossible due to the low number of people playing H3 WITH the map packs).
Anyway I’ve now being banned for a month from matchmaking on H3, which I consider to be unfair, given I was not EXP boosting, only helping a friend get an online achievment, which to be honest is really the only practical way of getting them apart from the lone wolves ones, due to the low number of people playing rumble pit.
I would like this ban to be revoked if possible, and I thankyou for looking at this post.

You just admitted to achievement boosting, which is bannable, it was completely justified.

All bans are final.

So what do people do then when no one plays Halo 3 anymore (getting close to it now in some playlists)?
They won’t be able to get the achievments any other way, so basically you’d be banning them for trying to get achievments which couldn’t be gotten any other way.

Then it all becomes part of the challenge of the achievement.

The ban hammer hasn’t been touched on Halo 3 for years, and probably never will be.

Earning them legit is the way to go :wink:

No they arnt, achievement boosting wont get you banned. I have done it with my little brother, and we weren’t banned.

OT: That just messed up. 343 shouldn’t ban people for achievement boosting because like Op said, you cant earn them any other way these days. Op should be un-banned.

I don’t think Achievement boosting is necessarily an offense you can get banned for though I could be wrong.

You got off lucky, I’ve been EXP banned multiple times in the past for achievement boosting.

Hmm I’ll accept the punishment, no worries there, but I still think there’s room for a compromise somewhere for some of the achievments, since they’re so damn difficult to get…

just make sure that every character in the cheev boosting game gets like 5 or so kills that way you dont get banned for xp boosting. thats what we did.

how do you go from getting them legitimately is the only way to go all the way to having been banned for boosting achievements all in the same thread?

I don’t understand the question?

I’ve been banned for boosting them and telling others to not make the stupid mistake I did.
