Unfair Warzone Teams

I have been finding recently that Warzone games are way too unfair, either you get a really good team or really terrible team. The current match making is totally unfair and I always end being paired with teams playing and unfair number of players who seriously appear to be cheating and play extremely unsportsmanlike. Supposedly 343 actually prevents cheating in Warzone but I am not so sure, as shooting someone with a round of battle riffle across the map to be beaten by a pistol seems rather ridiculous and yes i do hit the head. I also think the blaze of glory and railguns need a serious nerf and provide hugely unfair advantages in combat currently. As it stands Halo 5 has become totally unplayable to me and if 343 won’t fix this to make it more accessible to the people who cannot afford to spend ALL DAY playing and actually have lives then I will be done with them and Microsoft as a game company. IF i play warzone I want to actually have even teams and close games. I also think all players above level 148 should have to get 10 headshots at minimum or those with high KDA’s should take longer to unlock reqs but that’s a completely separate issue.

Quite frankly, that sounds like an absolutely terrible idea. Punishing players for being devoted to a game or performing well sounds like a perfect way to drive people away from said game.

Not to mention that would only encourage people to create alternate smurf accounts.

There’s not a big enough population to match everyone fairly, people who are good at warzone wouldn’t be able to match with anyone else except for 1 or 2 lobbies. BTW since November the Magnum has been way better than the BR so there’s a good chance you are going to lose a 1v1 if you have a br and the other has a magnum. Also punishing players who are good at the game is not a good idea. Especially when everyone reports them for cheating to lower their rep - even though they’re just good at the game.

I should add that I agree that the teams you face make it seem unfair, but that just goes back to its population.

WZ can be pretty frustrating at times for solo players, but you aren’t helpless. I see that you’re in a company, try using whatever resources they offer. Do they set up game nights? Are there active players who are online regularly? You can help improve your own playing experience.

Lastly, just your comment on punishing high level players wouldn’t improve WZ. Player level isn’t an indicator of skill, just game play time. It’s likely they’ve built up a large REQ library and have everything at their disposal. If you’re low on power weapons and vehicles, sell off the low tier ones like Scout Warthogs and Needlers. So you can save up RP to buy gold packs.

Smurf accounts are enough of a problem as it is.
