just bcausei didn’t purchase and play before nov 20th i’m stuck at level 70 with less than three days game play time whats the point of playing right now loseing all my exp for comendations and for mastering weaonry exp that cn not be gained back or used for leveling anymore why would you relase a game that you are not done with and are not ready for seems unfair to use who pay your paycheck by buying the game

If you didn’t get it before the specified date I fail to see how that is 343’s fault.
How is that unfair… there are people that are stuck at 70 that played before Nov. 20 and now have to wait because they either didn’t get a code or got a code that was already used.

Those, in the hand picked regions mind, who bought the game near or on release, were rewarded for doing so with the promotion

I saved a bunch of XP by purchasing the LE version.
It is unfair, its the stupidest Idea to limit how much you can level based on what version of the game you got, or if you got a specialization code. The whole Idea in general was just bad, so many people have gotten screwed over by 343, because the code promo never ran in Europe, and other places. Granted I got a specialization code I still think the Idea was Sh*t.

Because everyone can afford games the second they come out, right? Some people have to work to pay for their homes and family. Video games take sidelines to such things.

So a person who did NOT qualify for all the codes, the OP, is as deserving as a person who is valid and yet did’t receive their code?
No.
OP isn’t valid for the codes; He may complain about how stupid 343’s decision was, but he cannot complain that it is unfair for him.
Not unfair, just undesirable.
A better argument would be qualifying and not getting your codes.

Limited Edition means just that “A LIMITED Production Run.”
Now that the marketing ploy/hype is over, it’s time for us “Regular” (Yes, a dirty word in the online gaming community) Halo 4 owners to finally be able to “Specialization” up.
1-21-2013 I think is when the next 5 levels or so of Spartan Ops is released. It would be nice for 343/MS to also release us “Regular Halo 4 owners” from our SP70 burden so we can achieve the 130 rankings/Specializations and finally form well equipped teams with which to compete with in War Games for example.
Until then, I am filling out my “enemy” challenges in Spartan Ops. Here’s hopping all the XP Points I have “Earned” will apply when the “Specializations” are finally released.

It’s a terrible design decisions.
I am in a similar position to OP, except I qualified for the codes. You can check my stats I have been a player since launch. While the “get limited next time” argument is flawed in the fact that not every store had Limited available for pre-order. (amazon)
You could counter and say “you should have pre ordered some where else”
But again this is victim blaming. I purchased on launch, have a valid email, play regularly before the cut off, and am still capped at 70.
So while OP doesnt qualify to say it is unfair, I technically do.
Just let the people gain their xp at least? Let me bank what I earn to be cashed in when I chose a specialization whenever the guardians release them to everyone.
I know this will fall on deaf ears, as I have already sent emails and replied to threads. A response from someone besides a victim blaming fan boy would be nice, but community managers chose to let the community manage this issue.

Slight difference Bungie capped <mark>everyone</mark>. And the XP you gained while capped where returned to you when the cap was removed. Unlike 343 that caps people based on where they live. And throw away the XP you have earned while capped.
