For example; Enemy kills; on my account I’m on level 5 of 5 for Warden kills, now; I go on after most games to check how I am doing, So last game: HEROIC WARZONE FIREFIGHT ON URBAN, I killed 2 Wardens, Both Mytic as you can see here.
So how come my level did not go up? It is the same for Targetmaster; I play Halo 5 all the time, I generally stick to: Heroic Warzone, Infection, Big Team Super Fiesta and ODST Slayer, and I/my team generally win, the criteria for getting Targetmaster states: “Win matches to make progress towards a new set of Magnum Skins”. But I have been winning matches? So why does it not increase? I have tried Googling answers, but they basically state the same thing.
I have even asked staff to no avail, so I will try here, please help, I don’t want to waste my time if this is some sort of glitch

Firefight does not count for wins toward Targetmaster. You need to get the kill shot on the Warden (red X in the middle of your reticle) for it to count toward the commendation. There is no glitch with either as far as I’m aware. Thought I’d mention those two points to help you out in case you were not aware.

Every PvP mode, so basically everything other than Firefight, counts for Targetmaster. Infection counts as well, but I’d stay away from that since you need to be 1st out of maybe 8 or 12 players (sorry, don’t recall how many players are in a match for Infection) which is much harder than winning a social team game, for example. Swat is a good option since those games are fast. I played other modes since I personally don’t enjoy Swat as much even though the matches are fast. Pick what game modes you enjoy and the grind will at least be a bit more fun.

Odds are they won’t revisit it but yeah just because you got the medal doesn’t mean you got the kill sadly. I don’t know why or how it was over looked not to give an assist medal instead of just a medal for every one. At least with grunt mech’s you know you got the actual kill when there is a grunt medal next to the mech medal.
As far as target master skin I would recommend perhaps super fiesta? Games can be quick and wins are usually a bit more prevalent than other playlist. IMO.

I guess they wanted to reward people for putting in enough effort to take down a boss? I’m not sure.
