So here’s me, playing SWAT with an onyx rank.
2 of my team mates quit, but then a stroke of luck comes as I get a triple kill and killing spree, then my other teammate leaves, making it a 4 v 1 on Swatnums.
First off: If it comes to this, I think you should be allowed to quit without being punished.
Second: The game ended with me going 25 - 33. Seeing as it was a 4 v 1, not bad.
Then my CSR falls.
I don’t think it should in a case like this…
A 4 v 1, and although I lose, it isn’t much of a landslide K/D,

Or at least I should be allowed to leave, 4 v 1’s aren’t fair…SWAT only makes it worse.

Yeah, that’s a lose-lose situation. If two people have already quit, you should be allowed to quit with no penalty. Other team still gets the win and you still lose, but you don’t get a potential ban or a severe punch to your stats.
Sucks that happened to you, but kudos for sticking it out…especially in swat. I give you props for that.
They need to lessen the effect of a loss if you are down people. The more people absent on your team, the less the negative effect of losing.
343i doesn’t care about your CSR. Why don’t you have 3 other friends to play with? Are you weird or something? Be normal and get 3 friends. ~343i

Agreed. If all people still in the game, most severe…then the less people left…the less punishment.

Either way you’re screwed. Unfortunately I doubt 343i will ever invest their time in reworking the penalty code. Even with all the money pouring in from Req pack purchases.
It’s like that in a lot of team games where leaving matters, it’s not like 343 is being brutally unfair. Take League of Legends for instance, 5v5 and if someone sucks or leaves on your team, it’s tough -Yoink-. That’s part of the problem with games like this, you aren’t graded/ranked on your ability to have a positive KDA, to carry, or to be insanely good. You’re ranked based on your ability to win games as a team with your teammates.

But on the rig, its a rather small map, and not alot of places to hide, every time I managed to get a kill, I was instantly killed…

If your team quits and your the last one left I would like to see some kind of reward.
If someone on your team quits then the game should automatically recognize it and not count the game towards your rank whatsoever. End of story, please get on this 343

I think this should only be the case if you’re one of the last 2…If there are 3 people left, you can still win in a 3 v 4.
I agree quitting should not get you penalized in a 2v4. I often play with just one friend and we have had to play 2v4 probably 10 times and it is ridiculous. We usually end up losing by about 3 or 5 kills. You should be able to quit a 2v4 with no penalty and get a slightly lower CSR penalty when you lose after teammates quit.

I had a friend write a complaint to 343 and they stated that “you should be able to work as a team with the remaining people and win, likewise you were not a good enough team and will have a loss in CSR”
It does suck, but no reason why it shouldn’t count against you. A loss is a loss and there are many sucky things that can lead to a loss, but we just suck it up and move on to the next game.
Play with teammates. Hit me up if you need people. We arent great but we hold our own most of the time.
