I’ve started playing Reach recently and came encountered with a major problem’s.
(that’s when you kill someone who is wielding a sword and the sword flies toward you and kills you after death)
(When you reduce the enemy shields and melee them,but nothing happens and that gives them the upper-hand on killing you)
Hopefully 343i will already have fixed this before Halo 4

The first is related to lag, the other is a feature.
flying Swords is because it compensates for people with bad connections, meaning most of the time, if it happens on your screen, it will eventually happen on the host’s screen, resulting in kill trading becoming a lot more common in Reach and of course, the sword issue.
The Soft Melee one is because the current TU gametypes & vanilla gametype do not feature Bleedthrough, which allows you to do damage to health as well as shields at the same time.
At one point, the TU gametypes had Bleedthrough, but it was removed due to a bug, it is still in the Anniversary gametypes.

I can tell you right now, Halo 4 has the bleedthrough mechanic by default!
