So what do you guys deem to be the most underrated REQ weapons?
I have found the Light of Urs and the Spnkr EM very underrated. I single-handedly destroyed the enemy core with a Spnkr EM a couple days ago when the enemy team was up 960-400. Sarah Palmer’s famous words were ringing loudly in my ear as I called in a Spnkr EM and active camo. You can still destroy their core…
Anyhow, in addition to that I have found the Blissful Slumber and Razor’s Edge quite underrated.
Scale of Soirapt. Aside from melting shields apart, its OHK melee attack + extended lunge range can be a huge surprise during mid-game Warzone.
The second variation of the Plasma Pistol. It shoots around 3 bolts per trigger pull, so it kills pretty quick.
Sword of the Faithful. That enhanced hipfire ability is mighty useful let me tell you.
Fury Storm Rifle, super easy double and triple kills without having to worry about overheating incase you miss.
Oh yeah, I should also mention the Vorpal Talon (the tier-3 Energy Sword). The double boost can really close the gap with your foes, or to throw them off guard.
I believe very strongly that the Gungoose is the epitome of underrated reqs. It really isn’t all that bad.
I think the hydra’s are pretty over rated in basically any of the hydra’s - just zoom - lock on - fire. really handy in any warzone situation.

It is underrated, but it’s been a while since I got more than five kills with it in a Warzone round. It’s better in Warzone Assault in my opinion

I once got a 33 killstreak with it in BTB (my only Halo 5 goal is to get a gunfrig before Halo 6 launch). I’ll see if I can find the screenshot.

I’ll be totally honest, the highest killstreak I’ve gotten in matchmaking was a 24 with a Wasp in BTB Guillotine.

Spnkr ex especially when attacking a Bae or a core the secondary explosion is insane gets you so many cheap Multis
As far as i know, all my friends think that the Brute Plasma Rifle and the Storm rifle is underrated.
Every time i play with one of those weapons, the enemy is suprised by the (almost) shield drain and the quick melee.
You can kill almost everyoone with those weapons + it’s very effective against an overshield.
After a few custom games against my friends, they had one objective, never let me pick up one of those weapons when I’m in the enemy team.
I think i scarred them a bit.

I’m not as much of a fan of the BPR unless I’m in close quarters so I can follow up with a melee, but I am starting to respect the BPR. And I love the storm rifle variants.
For me it has to be razors edge suppressor.lost count of how many hogs and ghosts I’ve wrecked using it.the supercombine explosions are like cluster bombs if you use it against Spartans or small vehicles.
The 3rd needler variant and the plasma casters 3th variant.
The third needler variant can really do damage to vehicles.
And the ♵rd plasma caster variant can clear out a room effectively… especially when dealing with those pesky core dwellers/defenders.

My best streak with a Gungoose was just shy of an Invincible on Escape from ARC. This was all on my older brother’s account before I got mine, and the Gungoose itself was a Corps version that was sitting outside the enemy armory.

The Typhon (the tier-2 Hydra) can chew apart Wasps with ease. I’ve been on the receiving end many times before and it’s REALLY SCARY.
