I’ve unlocked everything in the game now, and I only play for… well, I don’t know why, but I do. So I’ve been messing with customisation options and trying to use REQ’s I normally don’t use, just for a little variety, and I think I’ve overlooked a few gems.
For armour, the Air Assault body piece IMO is awesome, it feels like a classic Halo armour. No daft bulkiness, no absurd colouring, just a sleek, solid piece of armour. I wear it with my Mark V/Mark VI/Noble helmet, because it reminds me of older Halo. The NOBLE armour is also a great armour piece I don’t seem to see many people wearing, which I don’t know why. In some aspects, I think it looks more like classic Mark VI than the Mark VI armours do. NOBLE has the correctly shaped shoulders, I think. As for weapons, damn the Sentinel Beam doesn’t half melt vehicles! On the new BTB map with the two Wraiths and a Banshee (forget its name), it turns out that a Sentinel Beam will take out a Wraith in no time at all. People seem to not be keen on it for being underpowered, but it seems clear to me that it’s specifically an anti-vehicle weapon. Although it is still satisfying to take down Spartans with it.
I would say a underrated weapon would be the Gunfighter or Tactical Magnum. I barely see any people using them in Warzone or Infection. I once got last man standing twice with the Tactical Magnum because of it’s zoom being just better then the regular Magnum.

I always use those Magnums in Warzone. As soon as I get level 2 REQ’s, it’s GunfighterMag/Extended Mag, level 3, TacMag/Gunfighter, and it usually stays that way until I get to use my H2BR/DMR.

Well ok that’s it’s great that you use them, then again it might be either they haven’t unlocked it yet(which is slim) or just think the BR will do better then the Magnum.

I love the Venator armor set and its variants. Any SAW is also great as stated above.
The sentinel beam is great for taking out non req vehicles and I rarely see people using them.
Also, EVA Leonov is my favorite helmet, but I rarely see it being used :’(, at least I’m unique.

I’m level 122 and have yet to unlock a single magnum variety. You’d think by now I’d atleast have one. It’s to bad too cuz I’m itching to try them out.
I’m still unlocking stuffs, good job. I play mostly with my girlfriend because we both enjoy a good match, even when we lose.
I’m a big fan of using the suppressed SMG, but I don’t really play Warzone at all anymore so I don’t get to use it as often.
My girlfriend loves the Air Assault armour and helmet, she has it equipped right now after getting the helmet last night.
I used to see a lot of people wearing the Noble armour back when it was “new”, but it’s definitely fallen off the radar lately.
I love the Venator helmet because it reminds me of this.
Other than that, I really like the Dynast helmet and the Tracer armour.
Also, the Gallows visor is beautiful, probably my favourite.
There Ian a version of foehammer armor that has blue, white and green colors in it combined with your two tone colors you pick yourself. Combined with any helmet with a big visor and the right visor color you can have a rainbow spartan.
