Funny. Reading the Bungie forums back in the day clearly showed that everyone had the same opinions about them as they do now with 343i… ah how things DON’T change.

Maybe beucause there isnt any bugs to be patched? Everything seems to work as 343i intended them to work and it is truly amazing. I love this game. Best Halo game to date.

Stupid OP is stupid… What game isn’t about profit?? Do you think developers make games just for the gamer’s sake? The people who worked hard to create a game need to pay their bills like you… Capitalism is what it is. Shut up or leave please.

You obviously lack brain power.
Profit maximization also includes keep a base community that will buy your game the next time you bring one out because they know it’s going to be good, which is why so many people were annoyed that not only did we get no Halo 4 beta to see that it was bad, but when we did buy it, it wasn’t HALO.
To make a lot of money, make a fantastic game that appeals to both competitive and casual players.
Please don’t even try and lecture me on the benefits and reality of capitalism you inferior halfwit.
Pretend we care about the community when really we don’t and just want them to throw money at the screen.
Slowly reveal info like Insta-Respawn, Ordnance Drops, Join In Progress, Kill Cams, etc, make the game sound good and like Halo, when it’s not anything like it. Make sure you reveal very slowly so the Halo community doesn’t realize this isn’t Halo easily. Let them think “Well _____ is in… but I guess that’s fine” and make sure to claim it “Feels like Halo, trust us” so they still think it’s Halo.
Release no public beta so people don’t get to play the game and realize it’s awful and buy the game believing that it’s a good Halo game, don’t let them realize it’s Reach 2.0. The game will suffer from not beta, but’s it’s all good. Money>Game Quality.
Reveal at the last minute how much of a rip off the Limited Edition is, so it’s too late for majority of the pre-orders to be canceled.
Release game, hopefully the misguided fanboys defend you’re honor and make the game seem good when it’s not. Let the fanboys defend the fact that this game feels nothing like Halo, and is in desperate need of balancing, fixes, and changes. Let them defend the fact that the game is unfinished and major parts like file shares don’t work.
Release a season pass so people pay for their DLC early, so when they realize the DLC is horrible it’s too late and they can’t get a refund.
Lock content so players HAVE to come back when we say so, so they don’t all leave to play Black Ops 2/another game. Lock Spartan Ops and Ranking up in Multiplayer, only unlock when desperate for Population boost.
8a) Continue to pretend to care about your community. Enjoy your money.
8b) Laugh and abandon the community. Enjoy your money.
Also add in other things like killing off communities and what not.

How someone can call this the best Halo game to date is beyond me. How exactly can a game that is a cut down version of previous games be the best?
Campaign was short and rushed, lots of aspects of it were not explained or poorly explained such as the covenant and there was 0 character development on other “main” characters such as Lasky and Palmer. In addition the Forge maps we have been provided give us VERY little breathing space, even the budget is incredibly ridiculous and around 7/10 times I am nearing the end of a map I find out that I have magically ran out of space. The budget is too low, forge maps are too small and tight, terrain is horrid on both Ravine and Erosion.
As for Custom Games it has really got me puzzled how 343 can really break something that wasn’t broken in the first place. They have stripped down the amount of customization from Reach tenfold, even Halo 3 which came out 5 years ago had better customization options than this. Now tell me how a game that exists on primarily stripped down features or rushed features is the best Halo game yet? This game has SO MUCH POTENTIAL but I’m afraid no amount of updates can fix some of the major problems that have left the community both segregated and disheartened. They simply won’t bother to fix most game breaking problems that will in turn affect the population as they will simply have no time. I wouldn’t be surprised if Microsoft were prepping them for the development of Halo 5 already. In no way am I a hater, I am just someone who is very disheartened and disappointed with this very overrated game.

Patches have been coming out for Halo 4 every week. Do you not read the bulletins or play the game online. The changes are noticeable. Not everything has been fixed, but in time they will be.
And if Halo starts coming out on other systems, that is great. More people will get to enjoy Halo. Why would you want people to miss out on this great series just because they do not have an Xbox.

Watch 15 mins of this video and you will see there is quite a few minor things that 343i has left out or is broke…Vid
Yet the games continue sell. Disillusioned fans keep buying them worldwide despite knowing full well the game is going to suck ahead of time.
Halo 2 was bashed by purists but sold many units and was the most popular xbox live game at the time (easy to do that when you are only game huh?).
Halo 3 was considered to be garbage by both CE and Halo 2 vets, yet that sold millions.
Same goes with ODST and Reach, and Reach was terrible lol. Guess what? All under Bungie. Damn gaming devs to hell for making money right?
So i have to ask, really.
…Why torture you’re self like this? You know these games can’t ever touch CE and never will. Just give up if before you waste your life away, having nothing to show for it but broken pieces of what was left of your hopes for Halo.
My advice is to abandon the cash cow for a much more competitive game. Like Quake, TF2, or even lolCS. You’ll enjoy them instead of bashing Halo 4 and have more fun playing better games tbh. Unless like wasting time on Waypoint instead playing competitive video games.

He’s not wrong… All of this is just a repeat of happened when the other Halo games were released. Same bull, different game.
The wall glitch on complex was a small issue that needed fixed. But one that STILL needs fixed is the FILESHARE, and that’s a big one!
And you can’t argue with that…
