So as some of you may know, the scattershot seems to have been given a buff in warzone recently as I believe it went down from 4 to 3 req points, it is also a rare weapon. I’ve used a number of uncommon random 4 weapon cards and I keep getting scattershots from them quite frequently despite it being level 3 and of a rare rarity which should never be given in a random 4. Just a small tweak needs to be made for the random 4’s :]
Nothing is broken here, you’re just having bad luck. Randoms can be pretty much anything at the randoms rarity and higher. Just remember, you can get Rocket Hogs (REQ 4) from a random ultra rare vehicle (REQ 6). Lower REQ levels don’t mean anything.
I thought random cards are supposed to give you a card that has equal or higher rarity and req points?

You used to get rocket hogs and gauss hogs in random 7’s ultra rare but they lowered the req points of rocket and gauss hogs and since then I only get the oni variant which is the only level 7 hog

I’m pretty sure only rarity is taken into account when getting a random REQ. They might’ve changed and I did not know.

No. You can’t get rocket hogs from a ultra rare random vehicle. You can only get them from a level 3 random vehicle and the level 5. The only warthog you’ll get from the ultra rare random vehicle is the oni gauss hog. You can also get a temple and ultra banshee, phaeton and the phaeton Helios. Oni tank and mantis and the hannibal tank and mantis. Level 3 randoms will give you any form of gungoose or a ghost. You can get an oni warthog or a rocket hog. They recently added the anti air wraith, mantis and default banshee to level 3 random vehicles. Those are the best things you can get from it except a normal wraith

I’ve never gotten a a regular scattershot from a req 4. Are you sure the scattershot isn’t one of it’s req variants?

Definitely do that, i believe the only time I’ve gotten the scattershot from a random req 4 was before the update that changed the scattershot from 4 to 3.
Maybe a crazy theory here, but perhaps the random req 4 was an old card from before the update, but i don’t think that’s how they work.
