Made me pumped, except one thing:
Did anyone else see the Locke and Chief statues wobble a bit when they were moved? A bit concerning… that’s 150 worth of statue, doesn’t seem like it ought to be wobbling…
Anyone familiar with Triforce products? Are they quality, or no? I’ve heard some mixed things, but it still surprised me to see them wobble even a bit; they’re not articulated, and they have two points of contact with the base. Opinions?

Yeah, that just proved how it is not worth $150. I collect figures, and anime ones that I’ve gotten for half that price have more detail in them, I mean did you see Locke? That was pathetic.
I kinda want them to make a ‘boxing with Josh Holmes’, and it’s just him throwing punches at a Master Chief/Locke statue.

Yes. When Oct. 20th arrives you can predownload the game to its entirety. If you preordered the game you would have downloaded a very small file. That particular file is what will become highlighted or lit when Oct. 20th comes. Right now its grayed out.

There’s a master chief controller and one more master chief themed hardware as well, so not all of it.

That’s what I’m feeling. I was excited for the LCE, because it’s the first Halo game where I actually have enough disposable income to afford it. I was a poor highschool/college student for the last 3. Now I can actually afford a Legendary Edition, and it looks like they skimped on the goods a bit

there is lots of information on line especially at JB-HI-FI and eb games/gamestop. Just go through eb games add to cart process and then stop when you have to add your credit card and if you are smart enough will learn all the details.
also I don’t see the point in getting the legendary edition just for the figure it is so much more expensive and I’m sure you can get one separately for a lot cheaper on eBay.
That statue is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. Almost makes me regret downgrading to Digital Deluxe.

It is slighlty concerning, but in the end, it is not something you are going to play with.
It is a statue and it will stand still most of the time, and the Locke figure does not wobble at all, so that might be a loose contact there. Definitely something they should have taken care of (whether or not each statue is like this, or only the presented one) but I don’t think it will break unless you are completely careless (which might happen with any statue)

No, it’s themed after the Guardians (and Forerunner aesthetics in general,) and the UNSC - namely the Infinity. Really the only inclusion of Locke and Osiris is their various branches engraved on the controller and console.
I’m anxious to hear about the disc option for the Limited Collector’s Edition. I noticed that it wasn’t mentioned, and I would much prefer the Limited Edition disc art, rather than the standard.

Gods I love it when people act like I’m talking out my -Yoink-, having not watched any press releases or media revealings.
I did watch the video. He said it’s made to “mirror the different design cues from Spartan Locke’s armor, and from across the Halo universe.” I also watched the video that first showcased the console, in which it was stated that aesthetic inspiration for the console was drawn from the Spartan 4 armor, the UNSC Infinity, how the “hex pattern” is featured in both Locke and John-117’s visors, the blue theme that we find with Spartan HUD systems, Guardians, and Cortana’s chip. It made mention that the controller is modeled after Locke’s armor, which contrasts the controller themed after the Master Chief. The console however draws from many elements in the Halo 5 campaign, not just Locke.
