Unbelievable amount of cheating

Just played a game of Fiesta. Enemy has 29 headshots (31 kills). Every kill he had on me was one shot. Not one person on our team was in double digits for kills. Not even the beta had this kind of nonsense.

Other than this game, when was the last time you played with a cheater?

I’m still yet to face one.

Yep. 800 odd games. One cheater. And I’m still seething.

I had a similar game recently but was for swat (i know one shot head shot) but the guy got like 3/4 of the kills on the enemy team which is insane. Not sure if its just server lag/desync tho

was his name “mint blitz” by chance?

bummer that it happened, but one instance is hardly “unbelievable”. I am over 700 games now and so far no cheaters, lots of people far better than me though!

Sometimes you get up against a high skill player, theatre in pov will tell you the story, but yes,its a problem most people dont recognize. The cheats are becoming less obvious, using them to get out to an early lead and then turning them off, or turning them on just to win. Its insta sus when i see a pc player knowing where i am, no so much the accurate shooting, bcause, well, theyre on a pc.

Probably just luck and/or skill

I call matches like that my “cheater matches”, because those are the ones other players reference, report, and upload as examples of “cheaters”.

I for sure encountered one based on my interactions with support, but the other is merely speculated as I never did anything with the footage.

Overall 400+ matches and I’ve only encountered 2 at most.

The easiest way to tell if someone is cheating is if they track through walls when you watch the game back. Most of the time they’re just really good.

I’d reckon its about 25% of games.

Agreed. I need to make a video playlist to show the different cheats ongoing. That was the first thing I checked before complaining. Two decade HALO vet here

If it was swat that would make sense to me (although highly unlikely), but this was Fiesta. :frowning:

Oh, that numbers way too high.

You must be confusing cheaters with skilled players in a lot of these instances.

Blatant cheating doesn’t seem that common, but as far as I’m concerned if someone is using the scroll wheel on the mouse to fire faster/more consistently, that’s cheating too.

I do run into people who seems to shoot at players they shouldn’t be able to see a surprising amount of the time, but with how bad desync is in this game, who knows.

Accuracy these days can’t really judge if someone’s cheating cos very skilled players vs underskilled players usually have their accuracy being absurdly high, like 60- 70%, but it’s easier to tell if someone is cheating with the new radar.

Since the new radar doesn’t detect anything other than gunfire, sprint and equipment usage, if you just normal run and they still do a quick flick and shoot, it’s 100% cheating.

If someone’s cheating then you can’t duel them, you have to resort to more underhanded means of beating them like Noob combos, Shield break + precision combo, Power weapons and 1 shot 1 melee weapons.

This is not accurate. This was the case in the technical preview weekends. But after lots of negative feedback, this got changed to the more traditional motion tracker, which requires you to be crouch walking (or walking slowly) in order to not be visible on the motion tracker. Being invisible also removes you from the motion tracker.

No, what I was insinuating was that because they are on a PC they can be using a MNK and thus their accuracy can be significant (not getting into the whole controller mnk debate)

But not cheating regardless. That why accuracy can’t be used to indicate cheating.
