Unbearably boring

The campaign was pretty strong but i got tired of the multiplayer after about a month or 2

This is a fairly popular opinion in regards to Halo 4.

However, I personally got a long run out of the MM. I admit I’m not an overly competitive Halo player and I’ve heard ranked arena is… Well, not strong with Halo 4. I personally played a lot of BTB and I still think it’s fairly easily my favorite Halo BTB to date.

As far as 4v4 focused play, I would go H3 or H5 any day of the week.

Whoops, so was I. I’ll edit and fix above. It was a typo, I meant Halo 4 (:

BTB was pretty fun in H4 the game just kinda fell off to fast for me

I’ve been playing it since '12 or '13. I think it’s pretty good, but it helps that I have friends that I can just hop on it with. Now, I have also spottily played 2, 3, and Reach since that time, and recently I’ve played 5, but I still play 4 quite a bit.

Yeah, I got Halo 4 around Christmas of 2012, reached SR130 by June or July 2013. A problem they more than fixed with Halo 5. It’ll be ages before I reach 152 in that game.

But I’m not the kind of player who thinks “well, I hit the top arbitrary number of this made up thingy, guess I’m done here”, since, you know, it’s not like any other Halo game besides Reach had a system like that. You just played because it was fun. Not to earn “Inheritor” or some number (besides your skill rank, of course). Not that you’re implying that, OP, but that does happen.

Anyway, what kept me playing was Action Sack and BTB. That, and I also still played Halo 3 and Reach. So bouncing between the 3 games kept it fresh. Something I still do on the Xbox One with Reach, MCC, and Halo 5 … and I will soon be playing Halo 3 and Halo 4 proper with backward compatibility, so I can enjoy their actual multiplayer suites again. MCC will just be for CE & Halo 2.

For for those of you who aren’t bored with it and still playing Halo 4 on the 360, I’ll be seeing you soon for my triumphant return!

And yes, Halo 4 having a strong campaign & weak multiplayer is an opinion that not many will argue with. Even as someone who enjoys the multiplayer, I can clearly see its issues.
