I am worried about BTB being a total nightmare when it comes to server-side lagging.
While playing Arena, there were several games, back-to-back where the game was almost unplayable due to insufferable lagging on all accounts.
I have very stable internet and fast speeds as well as a monster of a PC, and there were times that the game was just unplayable.
-All 8 players were just teleporting and blinking around the map.
-Spartans not taking damage, or just dying immediately from ghost damage or what you didn’t know you received.
-Grenades not following trajectory and just zig-zagging everywhere.
The announcer repeating words and phrases 3 or 4 times in a row.
just… so many rage inducing factors that last from start to finish in games… EVEN when matching to play in bot games and training.
And I know for a fact I am not the only person experiencing these things…
So my concern is that BTB is just going to amplify this problem and have the whole experience be a complete mess.
Does anyone else worry about this? Specially with so many players, bigger maps, and all the plus ones being added?
