why am i, a platinum across my playlists, not swat, fighting onyx and champions in ranked? im getting my -Yoink- handed to me match after match because i am only going against people 2 tiers higher than me. at this point i should just play firefight or go into social. is there something im missing or does the game just think im way better than i actually am?
I guess it’s trying to get a feel for your true skill. Or the pickings for players are slim at whatever time you’re playing at.
Maybe because if you were not playing them you would be looking at a loading srceen for hours

Just saw. It could be due to low population, SWAT and Fiesta have much lower populations than say Slayer . So less average players (Platinum) to match, and since plat is the upper % skillwise of the population in those playlists, you match higher skilled players. Try Slayer my dude, with another guy or team at your skill.

Yeah, anymore playing this game solo is a death sentence.
If it’s the SWAT playlist that you ate referring to, then the reason you are going up against higher tier players is because the matchmaking settings are much looser for SWAT, considering how it doesn’t require much skill.
Another playlist that loosens its searching categories is FFA, but that’s a different story.
