I feel like all these delays, they’re just waiting for Season 2 to drop all the good content on us.

The way I see it, Season 2 is either make it or break it for Infinite, Season 2 will be the decider on whether or not it’s worth it to invest your time and money into it, at least it is for me anyways.

Yup, season 2 almost needs to be a complete relaunch with some serious improvements to claw back the players. I doubt this though considering forge & customs will still be at least a season away. So far unless they’re hiding something it seems to me Season 2 will be a:

“yay we can play campaign coop now. Time to do that with my mates and then not touch multiplayer again for another season”

And sure they could be planning to surprise us with content but like, this is 343i. My expectations are in the earth beneath the basement at this point.

Seems to be that way yea

A 6 month season for 1 4v4 map and 1 btb map…and thatd about it as far as major content goes.

None of the big issues addressed after over 6 months.

100% not food enough.

Why won’t 342 just tell us what is going wrong?!? It’s clear something major isn’t right with the studio.

Are they down to skeleton staff and that’s why nothing is getting done?

Why not just be honest? Cut all the BS and just tell us what the problems really are!!

Why is desync as bad as it is?
Why only 1 4v4 map?
What has AA and bullet mag not been addressed?
Input restrictions / crossplay?

You’re killing Halo. Actually killing Halo.
Give us the REAL reasons why…

Maybe because of the huge success of battle royale, 343, superiors and Microsoft feel like this game may be a lost cause. Internally they may be doing a whole load of reshuffling as they accept this hard truth that Halo is becoming more and more niche.

Best I’ve heard is, they still aren’t allowed to hire anyone, even to replace people quitting. I had more fun going back to Halo 5, because it has a PVE mode, which I know Infinite may never get. It’s just sad, I don’t even want to ruin people’s fun but everyone buying skins is just affirming MS’ decisions as correct. Skins apparently are all you need to keep the majority quiet.

I’d say Infinite is definitely the worst Halo of the series. Spartan Assault is functionally a better game.

I’d honestly play 5 if I could find a warzone game.

I’m not a huge 5 fan at all but my god this games netcode is so 2007.

Seems to be the standard of the bigger games now, cod included… Release half a game, expect people to be happy with it and then do bare minimum to improve things. But it’s fine everyone will buy the next one (myself included) in the hopes it will be different.

What happened to releasing full on games with everything already being there, full on maps, forge, split screen everything. It’s all led by greed, not with the consumers in mind anymore.

That’s because AAA multiplayer live service games are designed as vehicles for monetization, this eats into the available development time for other less important things, like a properly working and content-rich game.
You can add the content and fixes later, but you need to make sure people can spend hundreds on your game first.
