So I just spent 5 hours forging a map, left and rejoined only to find out I was unable to move, spawn or do anything. Since I didn’t have any respawn points I can’t spawn back in. There doesn’t seem to be an auto respawn like in all the other Halo’s where it just spawns you at a random location despite not having any respawners. Is there anyway to fix this or am I just going to have to wait for a hotfix? X.X
Edit: It’s been confirmed that the problem persists when all respawn points are removed from the map regardless of the map not just Parallax.
Edit: Problem still persists sometimes even when there are spawn points, I’ll be testing this when I have some time
Is anyone else having problem with the rotation snap feature? . The rings should be locked to the snap angle instead of free flowing, this produces the goofy angles depending on how you look at the object, I shouldnt have to do that.
Got the same problem, but this time on Glacier. Strange thing is that I did put some spawn points, but sadly they were white (which means neutral I guess, which in past games used to mean any team can spawn there, but now the white works only for FFA, probably) and for some reason I cannot spawn there. It might also result from the fact that I welded the respawn point with the initial spawn point, so they are in the exact same place. I’d love to find out how to fix this, as I was making this remake of Sidewinder (H:CE) and worked on it for like 10 hours (nearly half of it done, but it was pretty hard to learn the basics of lighting and the new forge in general).
I just got this problem 5 minutes ago. Spent a long time on my map then started removing the default spawns to make my own. Game got disconnected from the Internet (which kicks you out of forge and you lose every hitting unsaved) and now when I come back in, I spawn far below the map and cannot move. I hope the map is not lost! A workaround would be great to get going again.

Also, OP, can you change the title of this thread to “Unable to return to forge map if no respawn points exist” or something a little more informative? “Forge Problem” is too generic to get attention to this critical bug.

Yeah, its happening to me alot even when i do have spawnpoints. Its getting really annoying cuz i have to restart my map progress and there is no guarantee that I’ll be able to return to it if I leave…
I’ve heard there is a workaround regarding rejoining the map though I’ve been unable to reproduce. My forge level is literally locked from being worked on.

You might have to have both Respawn and Initial spawn points. If that doesn’t work it might be because they’re in a spot you can’t spawn to. I’m not sure tbh.
I recently just had the same problem with one of my maps. I noticed some kinks I had to work out but when I went to it on forge I couldn’t spawn in.
I had the same issue, it just turns out that you need a neutral respawn point to spawn in again, if you are in forge and only have respawn points that are team specific, you will not be able to respawn, you must keep a neutral respawn point.
