I got halo 4 on the 8th of december and when i play matchmaking i will sometimes get an error say cannot read disk. this is normaly no big deal but i pull it out and the disk if perfectly fine. i have tried every solution and nothing works. This is the only game that it does this. It lets me play 1-3 games and then stops. my friends disk run perfect so he brought his over so i could install his and that way my disk would only be needed to start it up but it got the same error message. he took his disc home and it ran fine on his xbox. this is the only game that my xbox does this for. i dont want to have to download from the marketplace but this game is mad fun and i want to play it. any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It’s an error with your HDD and not the disk. Try installing all of Halo to a USB and removing the HDD. For me the game would give disk unreadable errors anytime the HDD was attached to the console (original core console, new Slim is fine)
Its not a problem related to the HDD, its his disc.
Cant you go for store warrantly and get a new copy?
