there is no error with my console. it says that “at least one player in your fireteam is not permitted to play multiplayer games”.

Same. It’s latency from being in Taiwan for me. Can’t play with any friends in the U.S.

I’ve got the same problem and I can’t play. Why can’t I? I have Xbox live gold and good connection so I don’t understand

I have friends in another country and always played Halo 3, Halo Reach and Halo 4 on the Xbox 360. A shame not to be able to play with my friends on Xbox One.

It’s likely a 343 server issue that will just have to be fixed in due time.

Ok turn your Xbox off with wifi for and all, start it up again and it should work. It’s probably just a lag or glitch.

Any of you found a fixture for this problem? I am currently experiencing the same thing and cannot figure out what’s wrong.

Yeah I’ve got the same problem. Gonna try restarting my xbox.

Yep, seems like restarting my xbox seemed to do it. huzzah!

Try turning off the system then turn it back on
this worked for me

Just go to Home and quit the game, then just play normally

Im getting the same problem on my computer I tried restarting and it didnt help. would the fact that im getting a message saying “We can’t sync your data with the cloud right now” mean anything. if so do you think you could help a fellow gamer in need. Im on windows 10 BTW

Either you or the other player may have a Strict NAT Type. One of you or both of you may have to do a little Port Forwarding in your router’s settings. That may very well fix the problem.
