Hello Support team. Hopefully this message makes it to someone who can address the issue. Me and my friend have lived together for many years. We both own our own systems, and have played every game imaginable online together including the previous Halo games. However, for unknown reasons, we are unable to play Halo 5 together. Whether its co-op or arena, one of us always gets kicked before the match starts. I’ve seen some people start to post about this, but no fixes or solutions. Please provided one as its frustrating to own a game and not be able to play the way we should be able to. We’ve tried all the basic network fixes (reset, restart connections on both xboxes and on the router, NAT is open, etc) and are experiencing no issues playing games like Destiny. It is just Halo 5. Please help. (Also, if other people are having this issue, please bump to gain attention)
Having the same issue myself.
Really fustrating especially when you got an extra halo xbox just to be able to do this.
First they remove splitscreen and say that you can still play with your friends if they also have an xbox, now there’s these connection issues when I decide to play with said friends on different xbox’s. Trying to start a match shouldn’t be this hard
What’s this sudden alienation of the audience that likes to have friends?
This needs to be fixed asap.
Same issue for me, though thankfully not every match. Seems to happen every 5th match or so and what happens is one of us will load the next match just fine and the other will get hung up on the loading bar. The loading bar does not load the next map for one of us and then that person will get “You have lost connection to the network” or something to that effect. To make things worse, if the player who got in leaves the match so we can play together, that person gets banned for 20 minutes.
All the network solutions were tried, which would be unnecessary anyway because we can literally play any other game together just fine.
Love the game, but like the individual above, we have two xboxes so we can play together. If you’re going to remove split screen, you would think that it would be a number one priority to make sure Xboxes could always play together in the same household…
Same issues here. It’s only playing halo 5. No other games give us this issue.
