When trying to play coop campaign with my friend, we get an error during the loading screen. We get in a lobby together, start the campaign countdown, and then during the loading screen we will get an error that says “you have lost connection to the game session” and both of us are sent back to the main menu, and are no longer in a party together. We tried loading a game with the both classic settings on (eg. visuals) as well as trying to turn on relay connections, and were still unable to get past the loading screen…
Both of us played coop together for Halo Reach, and beat all of the LASO playlist over multiple sessions without any previous connection issues besides the occasional random lag/latency.
Same here. I load in with my friend, we get to the bridge get our pistols, start fighting and then connection lost, you will be disconnected in 15 secs. We’ve tried both visual settings and our internet usually runs smoothly as well as the game it self.

We found a fix around this by both of us having the game installed on a HDD, as mine was on my HDD and my friends was on his SSD. The issue appears to happen when 1 player loads the level faster than the other. So having both players have the game installed only on HDDs or possibly only on SSDs, should fix the issue for most people I imagine.
