Unable to open H3 Sapien

Hey guys,

I’ve been super eager to get my hands on the Halo 3 modding tools. The CE tools seems to be working fine, but I can’t get H3 Sapien to open.
As far as I know, I’ve unzipped the files to the correct paths (extracted tags.zip to main folder and data.zip to /data). I followed fryingpanproductions’ tutorial for this.
Guerilla seems to open fine, so does standalone, but H3 Sapien doesn’t really do anything at all.

When I open H3 Sapien.exe, it will prompt me to open a file (I’ll select zanzibar.scenario) and occasionally flicker a progress bar in the top left that says “building havok representation for bsp” but other than that nothing.

I’ve tried:
-Reinstalling
-Unzipping data.zip in main folder instead of /data
-deleting everything and verifying files
-running in compatibility mode

As far as I know I’m not running anything weird in my system, but I’ve tried starting with pretty much everything closed besides discord.
I’m at the end of my wits here and have pretty much given up.

I had the exact same issue!

I found out by mistake by going to the task manager, expanding Halo: The Master Chief Collection, right clicking H3 Sapien and clicking Maximize.

I have no idea whatsoever why this worked, give it a shot.
