umm idk if anybody else is getting this but i cant mute my team at the beginning of the game and i also cannot mute them while in game by pressing A on their name or by X. please help idk if i can take the squeaky little kids anymore. played 3 games, 1st game some kid complained the whole time about not getting the kills and wanting to assassinate someone, 2nd game some dude was talking in spanish for the whole -Yoinking!- game, 3rd game some little squeaker was talking to himself and singing into his mic the whole game. for the love of god 343, please -Yoinking!- fix this or someone tell me what the hell is going on. i cant keep playing halo like this
Have you tried quitting the build and restarting the game?
It’s a glitch that happens sometimes. A hard reset after the match usually settles things for me. You can always start a party as well as that mutes everybody as well.

so it never fixed itself after i restarted game and xbox. i still cannot mute people today

Exact same thing with me… “Everything” including the spanish… At least I know I’m not suffering alone…lol. I wish there was a volume control for game chat, I’d turn it off.

I believe there is.
Edit - Went back and looked and turns out theres not. I do think there’s a way to do it in your privacy settings though.

lol… Believe me, I’ve tried everything to shut them up…
