For some reason I have been unable to get a game. Matchmaking takes a inordinate amount of time and expresses that no one can be found to play with in that playlist.
Is the player population dead or am I having a isolated issue?

If you did then I have no idea what your issue is. Unplug your router wait 30 seconds and try again.

Seem only to occurs in arena so its not server side

There is the population forum for that, they’ve pretty much got it down to a science. Also there’s the fact that plenty of people are getting an error message saying that there aren’t enough people playing that specific game type and they can wait there for hours and never find again and the people I mentioned are located in the US not to mention the people that aren’t in the US.

6 months in and one guy has a connectivity issue, better close the game down guys. everybody go home. halo is now dead.*

Update if possible, restart xbox. That should solve your issues.

Make sure that your router is plugged in. I’m serious: half the time someone has an issue with electronics, it’s because they didn’t plug something in.
I’m fairly certain Halo 5 isn’t dead.

The problems have always been there (well they started about 2 months after launch to be fair), but they just keep getting worse over time.
Happened a couple of time last weekend, but seems to be working OK now!
