Okay, so let’s keep this brief.
In MCC you’re able to lower your weapons by pressing and holding (for about 3 seconds) Reload + Swap Grenades + Aim, and then by holding Down on the Dpad.
This method works with all button layouts apart from Universal Zoom & Shoot, and I can’t figure out why.
Obvious reply: You must not be hitting the right buttons.
Believe me, I’m hitting the correct buttons. It actually makes the sound to indicate that the buttons have been pressed correctly. I’d love for someone to be able to confirm if this is just a bug or if there’s a different way to lower your weapons. I know I can swap controls to default, lower my weapon, then swap back to Zoom & Shoot, but that’s just tedious.
If you have a way, please test it before suggesting.

Hopefully I won’t get in trouble for bumping an old thread with no replies, but this is still a problem a year on. You press the buttons correctly, there’s the “hiss” sound to let you know it’s worked, but your weapon remains up.

As far as I’m aware it can’t be done with Reclaimer either because there is no dedicated swap grenade button other than the universal d-pads, which I don’t think count as the same action.
I have to switch to recon every time.
Remember that all Halos have different commands to lower weapons.

Hopefully this will be fixed in a future update. It’s a cool feature.
Depend which games, for example i’m using Reclaimer for everything, Reach is X, B , Zoom and Down pad , but my friends who use king need to press A, B ,Zoom and Down pad
I’m curious if it’s possible to do it on keyboard + mouse.
Can’t you submit it as a ticket for a bug or something? Otherwise I think this is going to be brushed aside to never be fixed like some other issue since very few people actually care, which i assume is going to happen. Oh well.
