Whenever I play multiplayer for any extended period of time (1-2 hours), after a certain point, I am unable to leave the matchmaking process. Doesn’t matter if there is a lobby filled or not. The “Back” button simply does nothing. Sometimes, it disappears entirely. I am forced to alt+f4 out of the next match and incur a quitter penalty. I really don’t want to get banned because the game wants to force me to play multiplayer for the rest of my life. This is really frustrating. Please address.

I have had this happen as well. Smashing the back button doing nothing. Forcing you to leave the game and get a temporary ban. Very annoying.
343 wants you to continue playing to give more feedback. Its why it won’t let you leave matchmaking after 2 hours of play. If there not happy with you there penalize you for not playing more. 
Just kidding. Though I have seen it at times pop up on me randomly when I play less then a hour. Also I think the way to change your name. Isn’t it tied to your xbox account username? And whats wrong with Yap Yap man? got a good ring to it.

Here is some more feedback/additional info for them: the bug does not seem to appear if you are grouped with friends. At least, I haven’t been forced to keep playing when I have had friends in my squad.
