For the last two months, when I’ve been trying to play (Arena, Warzone, Campaing), I have been unable to join any playlist, for no discernible reason. I keep getting the message “UNABLE TO JOIN. The request to join has timed out. Please try again”. My NAT type is open, and I’ve tested both internet and multiplayer connection with both tests returning no problems. After 10 tries (more or less), I get into a game, and the cicle starts again.
This exactly what happen:
I enter at Arena, players found
I enter at step 4, the background doesn’t change and after 30 seconds appears the message “UNABLE TO JOIN”
Try again like 10 times…
I enter at step 4, the background changes to the map, begin to loading the map, I play normally. (Coliseum for example)
I enter at Arena again, players found
I enter at step 4, the background doesn’t change and after 30 seconds appears the message “UNABLE TO JOIN”, even if the map is Coliseum again, I know that it is because my friends tell me what map was.
I have restarted the game and the console.
I have removed and installed again halo 5 like 4 times but the problem still.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? Some solution?

I have found that backing out of the playlist to the main menu and then entering the playlist again after every completed game seems to work.
But from the sound of it, I have never had it as bad as you have, so hopefully this is some help.
I don’t know if this will help, but try posting here.
