Unable to join the Halo Discord server. Pls help

I recently made a new Discord account for personal reasons, and since a few hours ago Ive been trying to join the official Halo Discord server, but every single time I hit the “join” button the server will appear on my server list for less than a second, then completely disappear. No matter what device I try it on, iOS, Desktop, Web client, etc. I was never banned from the server on any previous accounts either, and I even left it on my last account so it cant be a matter of multiple accounts on one ip address or anything. I’m trying to DM one of the admins so that they can help me, but they all have their DM’s disabled. I tried contacting Discord’s own support about this but they’re insisting it’s not a problem on their end, but with the server itself. So I really have no idea what I can do. Does anyone know any ways I can get into contact with an admin outside of Discord itself? Or any advice or ideas on what I can do? I’m quite disappointed about this honestly, like I said Ive never ever been banned on any accounts, and really only talked in there a couple of times before. So I have no idea what’s going on

Hey OP - can you post (or if you prefer DM) me the details of your previous account and your current account?
I’ll need both the name and the hidden ID for each account - you can find the details on how to get those here:

Be sure to follow the instructions carefully and copy the correct IDs down, needs to be User ID

Thanks for the info - checked it out and it looks like you\re joining with a brand new Discord account. For various reasons, including spam and raids, we have limitations on brand new accounts joining. If you try again in a few days time then you should be able to join without an issue :slight_smile:
