Lately, when I’ve been trying to play matchmaking, I have been unable to join any playlist, be it arena or warzone, for no discernible reason. I keep getting the message “UNABLE TO JOIN. The request to join has timed out. Please try again”. My NAT type is open, and I’ve tested both internet and multiplayer connection with both tests returning no problems. Only after a seemingly random combination of restarting my xbox and router do I manage to get into a game. I’ve lost count of the number of times my fireteam got into a match while i got kicked back to the main menu.
Has anyone else experienced this issue? I’m getting real annoyed with it, which is a shame because I am LOVING Halo 5 so far, but this is really killing my buzz.
I just started getting this same issue this morning. I cant keep into a fireteam together for seemingly no reason. Same people I always play with for the past like 5 years. I get the “Fireteam Changed” error and finally managed to get into a game, only to get the error mid-game and kicked to the main menu while my friends stayed together and finished out the game. It’s annoying now.
Same things been happening to me for about a week now. And it’s only on halo when the disconnects hAppen. “Unable to join party” and straight to the menu. Happens during customs, when I’m sitting on my own lobby, in matchmaking. Please fix this issue
Yep, happening to me. I’ll be in a game and get kicked suddenly with the unable to join message. I’m done with halo, 343.

What is going on? This happened to me all week last week started up Friday it was good all day then come Saturday played one game then all of a sudden “unable to join” this is bs! Anyone figure out why this is happening?
My reqs don’t work rn either, and then there is the fact I can’t join any games in arena or warzone!

this is happening to me right now, not able to play anything online for a week now. Are there any ideas on how to get this resolved, I have not been banned I reset my xbox I have a great internet connection. I cannot figure out what it could be other than multiplayer servers themselves being out but I do not see any outage reports
Yesterday, I was getting booted out of every other match. Today, I can’t get a match. I have only had connection issues after recent patches. Its frustrating, but I understand they are still ironing out the bugs.
