For the last month or so (possibly longer), I’ve been unable to invite other players to my fireteam. The Invite to Fireteam and Send Invite options do nothing. This includes trying to send invites to recent players, XBL friends, and company members. I can accept invites and join other fireteams, but I cannot start my own or invite to current fireteam.
This makes me sad

I had it set to Friends / Spartan Company, so I set it to “Open to all players” but no dice. Oddly, I can send myself an invite to my fireteam, still can’t send to other players.

That’s very strange, it might be a setting on your account that doesn’t allow you to invite players

Have you tried sending one to someone you know is online? And asking if they receive it? I’m curious if the invite isn’t being sent or if the notification sound isn’t sounding.

Tested. Looks like the invites send, but I no longer get the “Invite Sent” notifications or sound.

Yeah, I noticed that happens to me sometimes of late. Particularly when I send out a lot of invites at once.
