A friend of mine tried to start up Halo 5 after having preordered it some months ago, and was unable to launch the game. This friend purchased the digital deluxe edition. Myself and another friend attempted the following to help solve the issue:
Hard reset- no change, game unable to launch.
Check storage integrity- noticed the file size was extremely small, only ~100 megabytes instead of nearly 60 gigabytes
Checked Billing information- Game was verified as preordered.
Anyone who has had similar difficulty installing the game, please leave a suggestion or something you’ve tried here. Thanks guys!
