I guess it’s some kind of glitch, but on very few rare occasions I am unable to fire my Scorpion. The vehicle is badly damaged and the barrel seems to be missing. Is this some kind of bug that needs to be fixed?
It’s not just me, either. It’s happened to my friend before in a Warzone match.

I think the Halo 5 Scorpions are just like the Reach ones, they can have the barrels destroyed rendering the vehicle useless.

It’s happened to me before a couple of times. The barrel of the tank can be destroyed when it’s nearly dead. It’s a rare occasion, and there might be some trick to do it every time, but it happens.

But as a serious response, pretty much what other people have said. The Scorpion’s main cannon can be destroyed, which, honestly, I thought was a -Yoink- move. “Here, have a tank! You’ll feel nearly invincible. Just watch out so your cannon doesn’t get destroyed!” It was added in Halo Reach (I think) and it’s carried through to the newer games. I really, really hate it.
It’s happened to me a few times, the cannon of the tank can be blown up without destroying the tank entirely. Though I don’t know how exactly someone can do that.

Useless is such a harsh word when you can still use it as a battering ram or meat shield for teammates.
