Hi,
Xbox prompted me to update the game when I tried to launch it tonight. Update has been in a loop from “Queued” to “Uploading 17%” for the last three hours.
I have disconnected my router and xbox, contacted xbox support and went through all their troubleshooting steps and still it will not progress past 17%.
I’m really trying to be patient with this game, but it is becoming really tough…
Any help would be greatly appreciated, even if it’s just advice to give up for the night.
It’s Xbox. They had issues earlier causing patch problems. Just wait it out. My patch stopped at 17% for about 5 minutes and then progressed to 19%. Hung up for a bit there and then jumped to 98%
So it has been 24 hours since I started trying to get this update. It’s now at 19%.
Due to this update, I am unable to play the game at all. What do I do? Uninstall the whole game and hope I can reinstall and update it? Wait another day or several days!?

If you have the disc I wouldn’t think it twice.
I bought it digitally and I’ve uninstalled and installed it three times yet. Every time I get a new patch everything get corrupted.
With the disc it will be quicker (I guess) 
I believe that Microsoft is doing this to have something to bury in the desert and have a new ET like documentary ready in 20/30 years from now.
