Connection issues again today. I seriously don’t understand why there are so many issues. It feels like a beta release and any day now I won’t have to worry about unable to join messages, matches kicking me out half way through, not being able to see REQ packs, req items being dim, not having to clear MAC addresses, etc. How hard can this be? How many other multiplayer games are so gimpy and unstable online? I don’t get it. It’s pretty embarrassing how consistent the issues are.
I like the game, when it works. But I spend at least a few hours a week with some sort of connection issues. It doesn’t make sense, especially considering that how botched MCC net code was you would think they’d not repeat that mistake.

OP, have you tried resetting everything, including restarting the game? I’ve had a few days where I can’t connect until I restart my Xbox and actually restart the game. I know there are still plenty of server issues, but it’s hard to say what it might be when things seem to work fine one day, and not to much the next.

Some ISP’s have short lease times on Dns. Energy saver makes it do a full boot every time you start and refreshes the Dns cache.
