I can play on the campaign and use requisitions but I can’t get on multiplayer. It says “unable to connect to the Halo 5: Guardians Lobby Service” and I don’t have shy. Can someone help me out here?
Bumping so this gets more attention. Seeing the exact same issue. Restarting/reinstalling does not help.
Been having the same problem for a week now
Today was the first time I’ve had any problems playing online. I was able to play 2 matches of Arena with no problems before trying to do Online Co-op Campaign with two of my friends when I kept getting error messages saying that my account wasn’t authorized and now after 30 minutes I can’t even look at my online friends

Im having the same issue and it just started happening. Earlier this morning I played several games then something went wrong and now I can no longer play. This isn’t a problem with my ISP since several other of my friends are able to play. This seems like its happening to a lot of people and still no response from 343…

I havnt been able to play online all week and even before then use to have all sorts of server issues.
in ireland on -Yoink!- media (UPC) broadband.
My Provider switched my Router/Moden to IPv6 without my approval.
They turned back to IPv4 and now everthing works fine.
Can Play Halo 5 online!
I cant seem to connect to the lobby service and i have strong internet connection of 36mbps,dl movies etc just fine. Played online last week w no issues. Updates or something blocking me idk. Completed solo legendary and it doesnt reflect on my service record but i have the achievements.

I had my server do the same thing,
I’m with -Yoink!- Media Ireland and I rang up to say they were blocking my connection to the servers.
They switched me back to IPv4 and everything was working grand again!
Try rebooting the xbox. Take the power cord out of the console. Should work.
I’ve brought the game yesterday and it has not been working, but at least I can play the story.
I was getting the same message…I knew my internet was working ok because i was using it on my computer surfing the net no problem. And I had friends that were playing Halo 5 so i knew the Halo servers weren’t down. I found one way to fix this that works well for me. I have another game on my XBOX One called Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First Sin. I get out of Halo 5 and log into Dark Souls 2, it has no problem connecting to the Dark Souls 2 servers. Then I get out of Dark Souls 2 and log back into Halo 5 and BOOM! Problem solved.Hope this helps you guys.
Ok problem solved for me. I called my ISP and I asked to change IPv6 to IPv4. They told me that the problem was normal for some games. They placed me in IPv4 again for free and here I can play.
It takes 5 minutes!

Had the same problem. Solution for me was to find DNS from ISP provider and input into router and xbox. Problem solved. I did create a static ip and forwarded porting along the way but. Sort out your DNS and I think you’ll be happy
