So I’ve been experiencing the following issue for just over 2 days now. I opened Halo MCC through steam, logged into my account and selected the matchmaking tab. At this point everything seems normal until I try to enter either social or ranked matchmaking. At which point the game shows me the commonly known “Contacting servers to get the latest matchmaking data. Please wait.” textbox. And it stays, forever. Granted, I haven’t really left it like that for more than 10 minutes but I feel like if anything were to happen from that point on, 10 minutes should be plenty of time. Also, I feel like I should mention that I am definately connected to XBL, at least I am in the Xbox console companion.
I’ve scoured the forums and tried many a solutions since. I’ve logged out and back into my account, restarted my router/game/pc, set my network to LAN and back to XBL, verified my game files, reinstalled MCC and most importantly, I submitted a ticket to Halo support… To no avail.
I am not reinstalling windows. This is an issue that occured with no apparent influence by me, the user. The day before it first happened, I was able to play the game with no issues. All I did from there, was shut down my pc, go to sleep, turn it back on the next day and all of a sudden my MCC can’t connect to the servers. The most frustrating part is the lack of communication from the support team. All I have after 48h is an automated answer to my initial problem.
Thanks in advance to anyone taking the time to try and help.
Have a good day.
