Unable to connect to lobby since game update

yesterday halo 5 took an update. Getting error since then and unable to play in live.
message is Attention unable to connect to the halo 5 guardians lobby service.
live is working on the console and went try some addition steps with Xbox support. They believe it Is a halo server issue.

I have been having the same problem for the last few days. Went to Xbox Live support and tried all of their possible solutions. Currently re-installing the game for the second time to see if that will do anything.

I have had the same problem for the last three or four days… I went to Xbox Support chat, followed all of the steps and I still can’t connect… I get the same error message.

I went to Xbox support no good I uninstalled I re installed any ideas guys and why with all the money this game makes is there no tech support

Having exact same issue as everyone here, Iv tried so many things… nothing seems to work :frowning:

Where are you from mate? I’m from Ireland. I have researched up and it seems my ISP may have recently changed my router settings to ipv6. I called them today and they said they will change it back to ipv4 by monday. Hopefully this is the fix im needing. I recommend looking it up yourself too. I’ll report back here if everything works again on monday.

Myself and Shell Shock are from Ireland aswell… I even un-installed then reinstalled the game and my profile and it’s still not working…

Yep -Yoink!- media as well, so it looks like we shall have to give them a call on Monday??

Glitches are real today.

FIX - I ended up getting my router settings changed quicker than I thought. Go to -Yoink!- Media Ireland on twitter and send them a message asking them to switch you back to ipv4. All they needed was my account number and they were able to switch me back to ipv4 within 10 minutes. Everything is working as normal now! (P.S anyone wanting to play some team arena or slayer, add me and jump in) - GT: Puma i 23

Thanks. Checked our router and it is IPv6 and has always been so.
Any idea why the issue now?

No idea tbh, but I’d say it had something to do with that update on halo 5 a few days back

changed the broadband to IPV4 - did not fix the problem.
anyone else still having the issue? did ipv4 fix it for everyone else?
