Unable to authorise user.

I have a physical copy of halo 5 and it’s telling me it can’t authorise my user and therefor I can’t access any of the online components of the game.

What’s that about? Worked fine last night but this morning that error message is all I get when I boot the game.

Is this a server issue or an issue on my end with profiles or something?

Please sort this out I want to play this fantastic game!

Might be your profile or something, i’m online at the moment, been working fine since launch.

its happening to alot of people, me being one off them not sure whats happening but some people have manged to fix it by clearing there cache and other ways but im not one of them lucky few

I have a friend with the new ui preview dashboard he has same issue

I also got new ui on xbox but am not affected

Have you tried to contact microsoft. Or re-installing the game?

In the EU. Tried clearing the cache, didn’t work. Now reinstalling. See if that does the trick. So much Halo pain! I promised myself never again after the cataclysmic quagmire of pants that was mcc online.

Reinstall didn’t work either. Tried deleting and reloading my profile nothing. What a load of -Yoink-.

Have you tried launching the game from it’s page in the XBOX Store?

This happened to my friend last night, he Hard Reset and it started working. I don’t know what else to try if that doesn’t work. Good Luck to you.

Same problem here, I can only assume it’s a server issue that 343 will have to resolve themselves, very disappointed that the release has been shakey already after MCC’s extremely poor launch, also after promoting the co-op gameplay for so long during marketing, I can’t even access that which is pretty disappointing

I’m having the same issue as well. Does anyone know a fix yet at all or is it just a wait and see what happens sort of thing.
