i am currently experiencing issues accessing multiplayer. On your launch date I was able to search as good as anyone else and played a couple matches. It’s beautiful, by the way and couldn’t be happier with the results (as far as the game goes). Last night when I click “A” on find game I received an error, “you are not connected to xbox live and will not be able to access this feature.” I have checked my xbox live membership and tested my multiplayer connection. Everything is working fine, I’m able to watch netflix play titanfall and other xbox live activities. However Halo MCC is still not allowing me to access multiplayer functions such as custom games forge and theater. I would appreciate some feed back and some possible trouble shooting steps to take.
I am having the exact same problem, although my game just finished downloading while I was at work today so I have not been able to play previously as you have. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to solve this issue? I just finished trying a hard restart of my console, but it didn’t help.
Also, when I look at my roster in game it says 0 friends are online, but in the friends app, I have 3 friends playing Halo MCC and 7 total that are online.
Try to hard restart your xbox by holding down the power button until the console turns off then wait about 15 seconds and turn the console back on. It will take a little bit longer to boot up. Hopefully that helps. If not try also restarting your modem. Good luck!

That’s not going to work, it’s the game servers that are the issue.

The issue he is having is not one I have seen very many people reporting and sometimes a hard restart has helped the issue. It will not fix the issue with matchmaking taking forever but it should fix it so he can try to search for a game. Other people have had success with the hard restart so I am just passing that along. It won’t hurt to try.
I’m having the same issue, I can’t think of what to do!! I just did a hard reset (holding power button down until orange light on Power supply). Hoping that after work it will fix that. It’s driving me nuts.
