I bought 2 months of Xbox LIVE Gold to play Halo Online, and get some other maps from other players, but I can’t even access my own file share. Am I doing something wrong?

I’m having a similar issue with things on my Xbox. I tried to play a few rounds of Achievement Horse with a few of my friends over XBL, but it kept saying that personal creations couldnt be used. i’ve played custom games from another person’s creations. Why cant i use mine? I didn’t even create these, I got these from the people who submitted them to Rooster Teeth.
