Notes Before hand:
Before the release of Halo 3 and Halo: Reach, I watched a lot of gameplay from the people who got the game early. I spoilt the ending for myself and ruined my own experience of the game. This made it more predictable, and less interesting and hyped.
Therefore I want to create a Halo community agreement that will benifit everyone for a good “first time” Halo experience.
> -THE (UN)OFFICIAL HALO 4 ANTI-SPOILER AGREEMENT-
>
> By “Thanking” this thread, you will be contracted (promised) to follow the following orders.
> Upon Friday 5th October (The day the first episode of Forward unto Dawn is released), you may access the internet for checking emails, watching OFFICIAL CONTENT from “343 Industries”, watching other “mainstream” youtube channels, and other miscellaneous sources of information.
> However, you MUST NOT watch any community content related to anything Halo, or communicate with any other online forum that will threaten to “spoil” the game for your own experience.
>
> This agreement will be lifted after you complete the Halo 4 campaign for yourself AND after a week from the game release.
>
> In essence, we will “go dark” untill we experiance the Halo 4 campaign from start to finish. This will mostly benefit all of us throughout the community since it gives us a better, and fairer judgement of the game, which wouldn’t be tampered by everyone else’s views.
Thank you for reading. Don’t forget to “Thank” this thread if you wish to sign up to maximise the hype for Halo 4.
PS: I am aware of this thread and I do respect it! But this thread (here) will help give it more of a structure and bring in greater awareness for the idea.
PPS: I apologise if you see me “thank” -Yoink!-!
I thought petitions aren’t allowed…
EDIT: This post was brought to you by stupidity-enjoy
what is this…I don’t even
> what is this…I don’t even
Do you want your experience to be ruined by spoilers?
I will be going black soon …very soon
i don’t agree,if you don’t want to be spoiled then you should get off the fourms and go dark.
I think I can go dark, or avoid spoilers, on my own, thanks.

Just don’t come on the forums?

It’s not s petition.

Ah-ok then…nevermind then

Well…This agreement will make us go dark until we complete the halo 4 campaign for ourselves. Then we will be as alive as ever. This will only benefit us since we can judge the game a lot more fairly when we given it the full experience.

No,going dark means get off the threads and dont read about ANY halo 4 information.the whole fourms aren’t just going to suddenly agree because a few people dont want to be spoiled get off the threads and stop bothering other people about spoilers . There wouldn’t be a probolem for either sides if you aren’t here would there be.
> I will be going black soon …very soon
Just do this, for goodness sake.
> Fishing for thanks much?
This.
Seems more like you’re just begging for thanks. :\
You may get a few people to agree but you’re still going to have hundreds of people who aren’t regulars here posting spoilers left and right. Plus the thread isn’t official in any way, not sure why people use that term so loosely.
I’m going dark anyways.
But this just looks like begging for thanks to me.

Once you go black you never go back

-Yoink- this is actually a really nice topic and not a petition.
