So, this is a little peeve that I have right now…
I received a notification on my Halo 4 title screen saying that using my voice has been banned on Halo 4 for at least a week and I do not use my mic to talk to random people, only player I know, and even then I don’t have bad language. I would like this to be removed because it is unjust.
The voice ban is given to people depending on how many people mute them, so if many people muted just because even you were not using your mic you can get the voice ban.

Ok this might sound strange but are you sure the headset doesn’t make any background noise? it could be disruptive noises coming from headset, sometimes headsets do show the voice symbol on faulty controllers, even if the headset isn’t plugged in. I recommend asking friends if they hear anything or simply opening up a voice message, recording to see if you hear any problems. (Noticed this mainly happens on turtle beach headsets due to wiring being dodgy)
