Later this week we will be removing players from the tournament that have not abided by the rules and regulations. Those individuals are still on the leaderboards right now but will be removed at that time.

Really any tournament that isn’t held live and allows for people to play over the net is going to have issues. The best VG tournament is still EVO and it seems the most fair and balanced.

It’s good to see that action is being taken.
Anytime there is competition with a prize at the end there will be cheaters. Cheating is everywhere and will never be stopped. It’s how the organizers of said competition react to said cheaters. And from what I got from BS Angels post is that they will take care of the obvious cheaters. I think it’s better to let them cheat away only to find out in the end that it was a giant waste of time.
you mean you dont get 7 afk people in your game and score 60 kills every game… freakin noobs!!!
haha kidding, but yea they have been saying for awhile to not worry about them because if they notice that you have been boosting or cheating in anyway they will not be eligible for prizes.

At least there are being dealt with.
the question is will the ones in spartan ops be dealt with, its annoying enough that I have to fight lag, do most the work for a team 80% of the time, and then theres those who kill 2 things then go in a corner and spin there characters in place as to register movement or something. (still no idea why)
Then theres the groups in the upper tiers that quit before a match so they dont play with you (happened 3 times) I understand if its because of connection, but because someone drags a teams best time down or something is annoying, probably be faster to just play the match then research.
First time posting and I have to say that it sucks that people do all these things to win prizes and can’t be good sports. I am in the Spartan Ops portion and there are so many people proning it is ridiculous. Even guys at the top of the tiers. I hope they find a way to minus low score matches. I admit I have quit as well but only after the rest of the team quit. If it is just 2 and they are standing in a corner I still play out the match. I wish we could save the matches in video form to show these people as losers.
Also take the time to avoid these players and file complaints because they will keep doing it.
And this is why I never ever bothered to play in this tournament. Once I saw the first parts of it were based on time played I knew that it would promote huge amounts of boosting/afking. No thanks.
i hope this includes SpOPS too… because people are just game padding standing around doing nothing…
