I thought it was just some people trying to be trolls…I mean some of the things seem interesting sure, but umm aren’t we getting a little too close to CoD here?
I mean I like change and I can live with it, but this seems to be going a bit far…Well as long as I don’t die in three bullets I can live Halo 4 if it really is like this.
There’s a difference between a “leak” and a “fake”.
I don’t see what’s wrong with these changes, not yet anyway. We haven’t seen how any of these new abilities and stuff work so I don’t see why people are saying “Halo is dead” and “I’m not buying Halo 4”. For all we know it could make Halo 10x better.
Halo points system, Gain more points and buy Armour abilities and armour.
Basically those who play longer have better toys than you.
I was in no way saying it was bad just that it was getting close to CoD. I will support Halo until they stop making games.

Who said that people who play longer get better stuff? it’s just that people who play longer get more stuff.
I think people have every right to worry about this, but I think they should wait on more info before freaking out though. Right now the only things I’m really against is the random weapon spawns, instant re-spawn, and the join in progress. I hope they ditch these -Yoink- awful ideas before launch.

Exactly.
I am sure that they will make it so you can get more stuff but still be balanced though.
Again if this is true however.
Point systems make a game customizable to your liking and thus, I like it. Why should I play for a week to unlock a (weapon, armor) that I will never use? Having the opportunity to buy what you want makes the game suit you and what you want.
Too much like CoD? Sure it is adopting some new and similar things such as Spartan Ops and loadouts but its a good thing, trying something new is nice and if we dont like it, 343 can learn from that for the next two games in the series.
And its actually a funny situation, me and my friend were talking about how having a “spec ops” type setting for halo would be cool…several hours later I read the news xD

Well I said getting to close as in like a game shaking hands with another game.
I still refuse to believe it…

Well like I said I would support Halo no matter what. I found a way to like all the others when they changed I will find a way to like this one as well.

You don’t need to see them to know how conceptually incompatible they are with the series. That doesn’t mean I’m going to pout and just not buy the game (because it might actually work) but disapproval of the direction they’re going as far as the concepts they’re looking into is definitely there.
I still say it sounds more like Quake Wars than CoD.
